THE ROUGE REVIEW

Hi all my name is Ruby Rouge and welcome to the first ever Rouge Review which will now be a fortnightly insight into my world of Make-up, madness and Mojitos!!!

Every 2 weeks i will be telling you my favourite products, show you how to create the looks on the red carpet, let you know what my rougettes have been up to and much more!!!!!

So lets get this party started......

This week I am very excited as my rougettes have been uber busy shooting for a new fashion ad campaign!!but shhhhh.... I am sworn to secrecy but all will be revealed in good time!!  The 'Rouge Booth' has been out and about at some super swanky events in Liverpool, and the girlies have also been extremly busy shooting all the latest advertising brochures for the 'Ultimate Wedding venue' Knowsley Hall!!
The rougettes have also been busy providing make-up to the stars and earning themselves some super reviews!!!!

COPYCAT COCO
This week saw the international film premiere of Harry Potter 'the Deathly Hallows part 2'.  My Make-up spot of the fortnight is the beautiful Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) who sported a fun, flirty smokey eye with attitude showing us shes a young trendsetter with the grace of a Hollywood starlet!!

To recreate this glamourous red carpet look at home follow these very simple steps!!!
  • Apply a good eyeshadow base to the whole eyelid!! My faourite is Art Decos eye base available at salons nation wide.
  • Then apply a gold eyeshadow to the inner corners of each eye.  Try Sleeks 'Divine sunset' pallete, Superdrug.
  • A black shadow would then be blended in from the outer corners covering the lid up to the socket line.  Any strong pigmented black will do!!
  • Line the full circumfrence of the eye with a black Kohl pencil like Mac Kohl in 'smoulder'
  • For the creative twist like Emmas apply a small amount of gold leaf (available at any good craft store) to the outer corners using a small amount of vaseline.
  • To finish this look add a good layer of a volumising mascara like Lancomes Hypnose Drama, available nationwide in beauty halls.
SO.....SPOTTED

The Rougettes have had a busy 2 weeks seen shooting at Knowsley Hall, Knowsley, the koffee pot, Manchester, Granada Studios, Manchester and Heaton Park, Manchester.

The 'Rouge Booth' has been spotted in the V.I.P lounge at Brazilica Festival, the number one Liverpool night spot of Kingdom and the Charity fashion event held by Mr. Liverpool himself Daniel O'Connor in aid of Help the Heroes.

Anyways TTFN,
